Mankato Martial Arts cordially invites you to participate in our 2011 Fall Traditional Martial Arts Tournament in Mankato Minnesota.  The event will be held on October 15, 2011 at 201 North Victory Drive in Mankato Minnesota.  Events will include both traditional and open categories.  Our goal is to increase awareness of the benefits that come from martial arts training while also creating fellowship amongst the various martial arts schools in our region.  To learn more about our collaborative approach of running multiple systems taught by multiple instructors under a cooperative and mutually supportive partnership please visit www.katomma.com.

Registration begins at 0900 with a black belt meeting and rules review starting from 1000.  Registration fees are only $25 for competitors, with extra events being only $10 for each additional event.  Spectators will be charged only one dollar.  Events will include:

Free Style Open Hand Forms
Free Style Weapons Forms
Kung Fu Forms
Breaking
Point Sparing
Team Forms
Judo
Submission Wrestling (No Gi)
Ju Jitsu / Jiu Jitsu Submission (With Gi)

There will be under black belt rank divisions as well as age divisions.  The sparing events will also be broken down by age, rank, weight, and gender.  Everyone will be given a chance to compete at their own level and be judged fairly by highly respected martial artists from multiple schools and systems.
